Kathy Salvo, E-RYT-200/RYT-500
Kathy started practicing yoga in 1989, the year she competed in her first Ironman Triathlon World Championship in Hawaii. Since then, yoga has been Kathy's secret weapon for successfully completing, injury free, 9 Ironman Triathlons around the world and over 20 marathons. She is now committed to helping others achieve their own goals. Kathy received her 200-hour certification from the Saraswati Yoga Joint in Norwalk, CT and is further developing her practice by studying with Rodney Yee Colleen Saidman Yee in an advanced teacher study program. Kathy has completed her PhD in Yoga with Saraswati in addition to receiving her 500-hour certification.
Restorative yoga has become another dimension in her practice, studying with Rodney Yee and Judith Lasater. Restorative can take the place of and is often more effective than massage to reduce stress, fatigue and correct the imbalances we develop over time
